Troubleshooting FalconAir with a Macintosh

If you are having difficulty connecting to FalconAir with a Macintosh computer, the information below may be of assistance:

Enabling the AirPort Menu

If you can't find the AirPort icon in your menu bar, click on the Apple menu and choose "System Preferences…". Click on the Network icon in the third row of the window that appears.

Click on the "Show:" menu and choose "Network Port Configurations". Look for "AirPort" in the list.

If AirPort doesn't appear in your list, select "Network Port Configurations" to view the list of network hardware that your computer recognizes. In the list of "Port Configurations", check the box by AirPort if it is not already. If "AirPort" doesn't appear in the list, your computer may not have wireless hardware.

Next, click on the "Show:" menu and choose "AirPort". Towards the bottom of the window is a check box for "Show AirPort status in menu bar". Check it, and then follow the instructions above.
