The scoring and scanning services described here are self-service in nature. You, the user, will be responsible for actually scanning the response sheets. The tasks themselves are very simple and no previous knowledge about computers, programming, or the operation of the scanning machine is needed. Everything that you will need to know in order to use the service is described here on the web and there is a manual by the scanner containing the same information.

For those people who have never used the service before, you may contact IT Services for assistance in getting started. Once you have seen an initial demonstration and had your immediate questions answered you should have no problems performing your own scanning and scoring.

There are no charges for the use of any of the scoring facilities with the exception of the cost of the answer sheets which may be requisitioned from Central Stores. The cost of the answer sheets you requisition will be charged back to your departmental budget. For information on what forms are available please visit the NCS website.
