Using Tabs in Internet Explorer 7

Internet Explorer was not the first web browser to implement this handy feature, but it is still very useful. Using tabs, you may open several web pages at once and still keep your desktop uncluttered. To open a new tab, click the small tab to the right of your existing tabs.

A new tab will open. Use your favorites or type in a new web address to view a web page in this new tab. Notice that your original tab is still there. You can easily switch between tabs by clicking the tab you wish to view.

To view all open tabs, as thumbnails, click the small tab with four boxes to the left of the tab. See the picture below. Click on a thumbnail to view that page.

Note: Multiple tabs do not work well when using the Student Payroll application. See this page for troubleshooting details.
