Internet Explorer 7 stores your Favorites in a different place than earlier versions of Internet Explorer. To view your Favorites, click the gold star in the upper-left hand corner of the browser window. To add a new Favorite, click the star with a green plus just to the right of the Gold star. See the illustration below.
Notice that there are buttons there to view RSS feeds and History as well. To pin the Favorites or History to the browser window, click the green arrow (see below).
