The IT Services HelpDesk

Welcome! The UWRF IT Services HelpDesk is available to help you with your technology needs. Located in the lower level of Davee Library, Room 160, our friendly User Assistants are eager to help you.

Alongside the HelpDesk is the Commons Area where students and faculty can meet to discuss projects or homework in a relaxed atmosphere. There are 7 computer labs surrounding the HelpDesk. Some of these labs are teaching labs and can be reserved for classes. The remaining labs are general use labs and provide both Macintosh and PC environments.

Contacting the HelpDesk

If you are in need of immediate assistance, please visit us at 160 Davee Library or call the HelpDesk at 715 425-4357. A User Assistant will gladly assist you. If you do not need immediate assistance, please try the Services area of this web site. There you can request many services such as make reservations, send us a trouble report, or request network accounts, site license software, telephone services, etc.

You may also contact us thru email. When you send a message to HelpDesk@uwrf.edu, this creates a task in our task software. An IT Services staff member will respond to your request with an appropriate resolution.

The HelpDesk is not intended to provide tutorial help for students learning to program nor in-depth help in using various departmental software. We will, however, help when we can with general questions about using common desktop applications.
