Computer Lab Guidelines

Check the schedule

Before entering a computer lab, check the schedule posted outside of every Lab to see if there is a class in session. Normally, Computer Lab hours are posted two weeks in advance.

No Food or drink

There is absolutely no food or drink allowed in the Computer Labs. You may be asked to leave if you bring these into the labs.

Tips on being considerate

The Computer Labs are a work area. Please do not make noise which could be disturbing to others. Also, if there are students waiting for a computer and you are using the Lab for personal or entertainment reasons, please give up your seat so others can complete their assignments. Take care that your books and bags do not block access to another computer. Please do not use more than one computer at a time.

Obscene materials

IT Services intends for the computer labs to be a place where all users feel welcome. Toward that end, we do not permit the display of any obscene materials (on computer monitors or elsewhere). Such materials may not be printed, scanned, or displayed in any of the Computer Labs managed by IT Services. This is in accordance with the University's sexual harassment policy.
Policies for the labs are posted near the entrances to those labs.
