File management, something we all have to think about as we use computers on a daily basis. What does that mean? File management is organizing your files and folders in a meaningful directory structure. 3 top reasons why we should be concerned with file management: 1.) Locate files (easily and quickly)
2.) Facilitate file sharing
3.) Backup data quickly

If you already have a directory structure that organizes your files, great! If you don't and would like to get started, take a look at this web page for some helpful suggestions on how to begin. http://its.uwrf.edu/support/filemgmt/organizing.php

As we begin to start preparing for the move to FalconFile, good file management will help secure a smooth transition. Take some time now to organize and clean up your files and delete those you don't want.
